This novel talks about the intricacies of death. Death has to come to every soul on this blue planet. This novel throws light on the way how science and spirituality perceive death as. It’s the time of peak winters in Edinburgh, Scotland, in the mid of December, when Hary returns from his office at night with a shocking news. His seniors decide to transfer him to London.

The family begins to live in a bungalow in England. Hary’s wife, Mary begins to complain of seeing a moving shadow of a man holding a knife, in the premises of the bungalow. Things turn from bad to worse for the whole family. On a spooky night, winds blowing harsh, Mary gets up due to creepy smashing sound of the windows and goes to the kitchen to quench her thirst, through the circular wooden staircase. The irritating sound of the staircase keeps on increasing and all the lights go off...

She chooses to return to her room. The moment she starts taking steps towards her room, all the lights turn on. Just when she turns around, a walking deceased corpse shakes her arm while enlarging his blood red rotating eyes and says, “REVENGE...! REVENGE...! REVENGE...!”And a sudden lightening on the new moon night blows off the lights again...

Hary is convinced by the fact that something is drastically going wrong with Mary after hearing her hallucinations. Her frequent imaginations to spot an epileptic corpse which has sudden seizure attacks, makes Hary show her to a psychologist. But, as the time flies, the terrifying situation gets even worse. That spirit begins to haunt her each night...

Whose presence is felt by Mary each night? Is that really her imagination or there’s some paranormal activity going on in their bungalow? What’s the well kept secret? Who’s hiding the mystery?
